After marrying Bollywood actress Hazel Keech, Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is ready to follow her wife’s footsteps as the star sportsman is set to be a part of the second season of a famous web series.

‘Inside Edge’ is a cricket-based drama web series, which is ready to be back with its second season. However, this time the makers are working on bringing in some realness in the reel show with an actual cricketer.

According to Deccan Chronicles, the director of the series Karan Anshuman is keen on getting Yuvraj on board. Meanwhile, it is also being said that Yuvraj couldn’t contain his excitement hearing this news.

A source in the know said, “The makers were toying with the idea of roping a cricketer for the next season, as it would lend more authenticity to it. Yuvraj’s name cropped up several times.” Bearing in mind that Angad Bedi, who is already a part of the series is a very good friend of the cricketer it was easier to convince Yuvraj. “When Angad requested Yuvraj to feature in the show, he jumped at the idea. If the dates work out, he will be seen in the new season,” the source added.

The series also stars Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadda, while Yuvraj will most likely play himself in the series, of which the final script is under way.
